Delwood first introduced the The Legends “Rock” Dubai in 2005 which was the first indoor tennis exhibition in the GCC and featured former greats such as Björn Borg, Ilie Nâstase, Mansour Bahrami and Henri Leconte in front of a sold out crowd of over 3,000 spectators at the Madinat Jumeirah Arena.

Following the immense success of that event, the crowds returned for a historic second edition in 2006 which saw the epic rivalry of Björn Borg and John McEnroe as they officially went head to head for the first time in five years.

In accordance with the Outback Champions Series rules; each player earns 100 Champions Series points per round-robin match victory and 100 Champions Series points for competing.
400 bonus points are awarded to the winner of each Outback Champions Series event while the runner-up will earn a bonus of 200 points. Each third place finisher will earn 100 bonus points while the fourth-place finisher will be awarded 50 bonus points.
